Ambers of Amersham is set in a beautiful and unique fifteenth century mill in Old Amersham established in 1965. Our home for fashion and style.

Ambers is very proud of our personal service to assist you in choosing that special outfit for every occasion.Perhaps Mother of the Bride, a special wedding, a day at the races, a smart executive look or something fabulous and casual. Our aim is to guide you to perfection.

Part of Ambers’ service is an excellent alteration and fitting service, millinery, shoes and accessories. We also offer our River Room restaurant for afternoon tea, a light luncheon and that satisfying glass of champagne!

Ambers was founded by Carla Cameron, an ex Dior and Hartnell model, who has imbued a true sense of style from that golden era of fashion in the 1930′s.1940′s and 1950′s. Ambers is old fashioned style with a contemporary edge. Ambers is a glorious home for all our selection of luxury brands.

Ambers remains a private company now run by Carla’s son, Alistair Cameron. His sense of excellence maintains Ambers unique position as a place to visit.

Over the years Ambers has maintained a constant enthusiasm for working with many charities and we produce a minimum of two series of shows each season for a variety of good causes. Many stars of stage and screen, and indeed, members of the Royal family, have supported these events. A visit to our restaurant will show a selection of celebrity pictures of our supporters.
