Ambers is our home for fashion.

An Inspirational lady had an amazing idea back in 1966.  That idea of Carla’s has grown into the unique world that is Ambers of Amersham.

The idea was to bring the very highest quality of fashion, the most chic and the most stylish from Mayfair to Amersham. All of this with the care and service that is Ambers’ signature.

In the fashion world Ambers is unique as a private family emporium.  As such we have had so many designers under our roof from Sir Norman Hartnell’s Petite Salon,  Zandra Rhodes, Bill Gibb, Roland Klein and John Bates in the 1970’s; the timeless elegance of Jean Muir, Jacques Azagury, Jasper Conran and Oscar de la Renta in the  1980’s & 1990’s;  and continuing our tradition of superb quality into the current season.  Our selection of excellence in 2017 includes Escada (a collection we have enjoyed since1978), Hugo Boss,  Max Mara, Moschino, Basler, John Charles, Frank Lyman, Joseph Ribkoff, Rodika, Shubette, Lucia and Marc Cain.

Service is the bedrock of Ambers.  We want you to have a wonderful and happy experience. Your stress free visit begins with our own private car park.  Our collections can take you to every occasion. A wedding, a day at the office, an executive lunch or a day at the races.  We also offer a unique and professional alteration service to make the right outfit perfect.

If you require a little sustenance during the day Ambers has the Palm Court and River Room restaurants offering morning coffees, lunches and speciality afternoon teas.  All of this combined with a fortifying glass of champagne or wine.
